Yoga


I have been  teaching Yoga for over 20 years and I continue to find deeper meaning and connection to the practice each time I get on the mat.


I teach Asana (postures), Pranayama (extension of the breath or life force) and Meditation (focusing of the mind).  


Iyengar Yoga has been the main inspiration and the strongest influence for my personal practice and teaching. This particular style of yoga focuses on correct body alignment and intelligent sequencing of the asanas to achieve a desired effect and develops a strong, flexible and harmonious body. 


The practices of Pranayama and Meditation assist with the feeling of connection to self, calmness and

peace of mind.  


What I love most about teaching is the variety of students I get to know and the joy I feel watching them grow in their practice.
